Is it weird that I do this on purpose sometimes?

like when someone in front of me that I don't know says ''Hey!'' and waves, but I know they're really waving to the person behind me, I will wave back and say ''Hey man!'' and they get a confused look on their face. Today at school this girl directly in front of me says ''Hey!'' and opens her arms like she is getting ready to hug me, but I know it's really the guy behind me since I don't really know her that well, but I say hey back and hug her. She got all flustered and confused, then I turned around to look at the other guy, and said ''Oh, whoops.'' then walked away laughing inside. Is it weird that I do this on purpose sometimes?
lol thats happen to me before. i learned from it so i don't say hi back. sometimes that i'm paranoid of saying hi people sometimes say yeah, i'm saying hi to u. Is it weird that I do this on purpose sometimes?
It would be weird NOT to do what you do. Taking advantage of an opportunity when it presents itself is an admirable quality.
Eh, I could see how people might assumme you're looking for attention/are lonely if you do that all the time. :POn the other hand, I do love stealing people's high-fives.
It happens. I usually just look forward until I'm sure I know they're talking to me.
No, it's not. I don't do it though.
Its not really weird that you do it but I however find it quite awkward.

This. Nothing screams awesome like a high five interception. It's like you get a high five from both people in some kind of... crazy high-five sandwich.
that's possibly the most awkward situation i could imagine.
It's called messing with people.

i agree with both points. I steal high fives so much the FBI is on my back.
No it's not weird. Situaions like these present themselves almost everyday and you must take advantage of them. Plus it makes the other person feel like an idiot so thats an added bonus
That has happened to me before and I've done it to people before.
ive never heard of this

but thanks for telling me so ill be sure to look for opportunities:D
