What's this called?

When a video game uses in game graphics/ect. for cutscenes? Red Dead Redemption is like this, and by friend and I are trying to remember what it's called. He thinks CGI, I'm thinking pre-rendered.What's this called?
I know what you mean, but I'm not sure if it has a name. What's this called?
cgi is computer graphics, which is not ingame engine.. pre rendered is just that, ingame cutscene... take final fantasy 10 for example ( old yah but what comes to my mind).. it had amazing graphical cgi.. then it also had pre rendered ingame cutscenes with the regular graphics engine.
In-game footage? That's the closest thing I can think of...

In-game rendering? I think it's something along those lines.
