Anybody here run/used to run track?

I ran track my freshman and sophomore year, and also did it this year. I did long distance events, usually 2 mile though. My best time for the 2 mile was 11:25 I think, something like that. If I did the 1 mile I probably could have gotten under 5:00 or really close to it. Which isn't great but it's not bad.Anybody here run/used to run track?
Yes, but I'm more of a cross country guy. I ran 2 mile.Anybody here run/used to run track?
I made the team in 4th and 5th grade for relay if that counts. :P
My personal best on the mile is 6 minutes, so you're smoking me. I didn't run track, but I do run for fun.

'Cause if you were on a team, the coaches would be pushing you a lot and you'd probably be able to do way faster.
I do 200m , 400m and 800m
I do 200m , 400m and 800m
Oh, what's your 800m time? My friend's time was 1:59 I think, that was the best on our team.

I ran track and cross country back in high school. I did the distance events in track (800, 1 mile, 2 mile).

I don't think it's easy to drop your time that much in the 800m though.

I used to do track, but not anymore...
Mhm, did so every year and am running track this year too! I'm a sprinter though, and my best time this season so far is 11:23 for 100m, which is a fair improvement over last year. :P

I used to run track a while back. I then got into soccer and that is enough running for me. I'd say soccer is the most demanding sport other then marathon running and speed running. I ran a lot last summer and got down to a 5:25 mile which I was satisfied with because I was never much of a runner.
