People downplaying Swine Flu.

You know I'm really sick of everyone underestimating this Swine flu. People need to have a say, or feel the need to make a point so they will counter whatever is in the media. Everyone who says it is overblown really needs to stop because you are giving people false information for the benefit of your ego. Stop trying to out voice what is being said just so you can get recognition. Those of you who say ''it's not in my state. I'll worry then''. That is just ridiculous. No concern for others.

Tell me it isn't an epidemic. Over 5,000 people in a couple of weeks, wait a few of more weeks and then tell me it's overblown. Fall/Winter aren't that far away...People downplaying Swine Flu.
.... It does not quailfy as a epidemic hence it is not one.. You clearly do not know what a epidemic is yet.. Start with the Black Plague, and the Flu epidemic of 1918.. That beign said it may turn into a epidemic it may not.. I am thinking the later, seeing as WASHING your hands after you go to the bathroom has found to already reduce the chances of getting it dramatically..People downplaying Swine Flu.
Mexican swine flu epidemic 'not so aggressive' as feared, says the government
Fact is nobody really knows the eventual severity. Past indicators are when a significantly new virus shows up it can hit the fan. Is this it? Nobody is sure. We'll find out this fall.
What people are referring to when they say it is being overblown is the severity of swine flu. All indications are that swine flu is no more dangerous than the seasonal flu.

Who cares about the Swine Flu.

Look at the date. That was when there were only hundreds infected, now there are thousands.

Or the fact that they need to wave their anti-media flag high and will do so in any given opportunity.

State? Phhh, I'll worry when it's in my country.
Swine Flu isn't a big deal...the more people understand that, the more everyone gets sick.
i think this whole situation is a conspiracy set forth by a bunch of disgruntled vegetarians.
It's been around since March and the deaths don't seem to be great in number.
