Hypothetical Situation:You are posting on Gamespot and after a few minutes you realize that no one is responding to any threads. The last four posts ended exactly at 8:34, but you are still able to post perfectly.Out of curiosity, you go to another large forum and notice that the last post was at 8:34 there as well. After about 10 minutes of checking sites, you notice they too were last active at 8:34 with no recent posts after.You go outside and notice that no one is walking outside and the sound of where you live is unusually quiet.What do you do?(Posted this on a different site earlier, thought it would be fun to do here as well)End of the World Situation

Seriously:1. Establish if I am in fact the only person left.2. Discover exactly what happened if possible. Aliens? Virus?3. If I'm the only one left, then I live out my life playing every video game known to man...OT-ishly:1. Jump for joy.2. Make a million alts and talk to myself on OT. Be sure to break all the rules.3. ????4. Profit!
i'd go steal the nicest car i could find and race about it in it.... seriously that was the first thing that came in my head.

I would think it's a good time to head for the Twinky Factory!
After realizing no one is around, I would steal a large car with a lot of space to put stuff in. I would then go to the grocery store and find all food that wouldn't expire immediately, for example, canned food that doesn't need a microwave. I would then take everything in the pharmacy and put it in several suitcases, and make sure I take the things outside of the pharmacy window too, for example the bandages and first aid kits.



While I'm out I would find some external hard drives and bring them back home so I could download as many pages of wikipedia as I would need. I would then find or make something similar to this (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/01/portable_solar.php) so I could run a laptop (which I would have stolen earlier) off of solar energy. Then go back out and find as many weapons as I can from nearby gun shops, and while I'm out bring along two healthy dogs from a nearby kennel (one male, one female) for companionship, and release the others.



After all of this preparation I would move away from all nuclear power plants, because I would be unaware of if they had the standby feature or not. Now that I'm safely away from any major city, I would begin to build a log cabin, or alternatively take over an existing one if I find it in a nice location.



As far as long term goals, I would hunt nearby game and then maybe try to see some interesting areas of the world after a couple years of learning to survive.
Well, things are usually quiet in my neighborhood, and I dont really pay attention to post times. If nobody was posting...I would flip the TV on...If the TV wasnt broadcasting...Id play a video game...I probably wouldnt even realize that nobody was arounduntil a few hours had passed, haha. But yeah id definitely comandeer a cop car or something and cruise around looking for people. As well as drive down toMarine Corps Base Quanticoto get some sweet weapons and some MRE's...because zombies would definitely be in my thoughts...

I think I'd notice humanity's dissapearance by the unusual silence in my house and not forums, but okay. I think I'd just go exploring and then steal stuff.

I mean...Good, things will be less cluttered.
So its kind of like I am Legend? Well i believe i'd do the following:-Wander around in the vain hope that there are other people that are still around. In all likelihood this will fail.-Attempt to migrate somwhere warmer.-Gather up as many pets and animals that I can find, along with some food and other miscellanous materials related to animals. I am after all going to need something living to socialize too seeing how human beings are essentially gone from the face of the earth. I may need certain farm animals like chickens if i want to live.-Power supply is prone to shut down at any given day. I gotta stock up on as many backup generators as I can to live.The internet is highly prone to shut down as well. Time to stock up an as many important and useful information I possibly can. Will also have to get some Hard Drives to stock up all the information i deem neccessary for survival.-Get as many fridges and freezers as I can to stock up on food in the long term. Particularly the non-perishable stuff.-Learn some neceessary skills for my survival. Agriculture, medicine, hunting, setting traps etc.-stock up on firearms in the event that wild animals wan't to come for my butt.-Pick up as many movies, games and TV shows that I can possibly get my hands on. Something to keep myself occupied.
I think i would do a HELLUVA lot of checking before i went wild or anything. I suppose once i confirmed that i was the only one left, id just goof around for a while then start looking for my new house.
Oh... when all the people come back, they're gonna find my clothes in a fountain and me sitting almost naked in a mall playing PS3 in a game store.
